Metade de Setembro / Middle of September

Já estamos na metade de Setembro! O ano está acabando e por mais que eu faça, nunca parece ser o bastante! Costurei bem no fim de semana, mas não pareceu muito no final... E ainda tem uma pilha de tecido para cortar e continuar costurando. Parece que nunca vou conseguir completar tudo que planejo e preciso fazer... O pessimismo está diretamente ligado à chuva que vem entristecendo a cidade desde sábado. :(

We are already in the middle of September! The year is coming to the end and for all I do, it never seems to be enough! I sew really well this weekend but it's not what it shows in the end... And I still have a pile of fabric to cut and keep sewing. It looks like I'm never going to complete everything I planned and/or need to do... The pessimism is linked directly to the rain that's making this city a bit of a sad place since Saturday. :(

Mas para ajudar a levantar o astral, vamos falar do filme que vi no domingo com a minha mãe. "Mamma Mia!" é um musical comédia romântica desses de deixar você de coração leve e vontade de sair dançando na rua. Meryl Streep é boa de comédia, ela já tinha provado com "Ela é o diabo" e "A morte lhe cai bem", mas impressiona ainda mais cantando e dançando. Gosto muito do Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Julie Walters e Christine Baranski. E mesmo que você não conheça/reconheça os atores, todos estão ótimos e é um filme para alegrar seu dia. Vá se divertir!

But to help make things happier, let's talk about the movie I saw on Sunday with my mother. "Mamma Mia!" is a romantic comedy musical that leaves your heart soaring and you wishing to go singing and dancing on the streets. Meryl Streep is really good on comedy but she had already showed it with "She Devil" and "Death becomes her", and she impresses even more singing and dancing. I love Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Julie Walters and Christine Baranski. But even if you don't know or recognize all the actores, everyone is great and it's a movie to make you happy. Go have fun!
