Post 100 e um fim de semana produtivo! / 100th post and a very productive weekend!

This is the 100th post! Nice to keep up with a super productive weekend even with all the rain and cold weather at Rio de Janeiro. I saw in a lot of blogs that this kind of round numbers are celebrated with giveaways but I'll be travelling in a week and after that I'll be in a craftfair and then it will be Christmas... Meaning that it will be a lot happening at the same time. So, my first giveaway will have to wait for one year blogsversary. :D

So let me show what I manage to finish this weekend! First a "kit" for Jasmjin, the daughter of my best friend Lília, whom I'll be visising in a week! I finished the dress I started a long time ago. I know it's a summer dress and now it's autumn in the northern hemisphere, but I'm not able to do sleeves yet. But I'm trying! I even bought a pattern and we will see what I'm capable of. But considering the time, I think I manage to do well. To go with the dress I made a small bag. It's reversible and the other fabric is the pink dots like the details in the dress. And also a reversible apron to go with the children's kitchen mittens I made ages ago!

For Ruud, Lilia's husband, I made a small pillow to keep him company during his readings. :)

And for me I made two things I was planning to take to the trip. First a sewing bag. It didn't come out as I imagined it though. I wanted it with zipers so it could be closed and carry things in safety. But sew zipers in angles are hard! I was cutting in the fabric I left around it with all the mistakes I made! So I decide to stop while I still had something. I can carry things but certainly isn't what I envisioned. But I'll try again latter, with more time and patience. And I still can carry my sewing things to travel.

A segunda peça saiu melhor e vou testá-la alegre nesta viagem. E gostei do resultado.
The second thing came out better and I'll test it happily in this trip. It's to carry passport, boarding passes, millages card, all the papers needed to travel. I used plastic for the pouches and I put some tape, the kind used to mark walls for painting, on the machine foot to slide over the plastic. It wasn't so hard after all. And I liked the result. Let's see how it survives the airports and the customs.
.
As férias vem aí! :D
.
Now it's just control the anxienty for 7 more days until I can board the plan next Monday!
Vacations are coming! :D

Adorei tudo! Quem sabe assim me animo a fazer algo também... ;-)
Estamos esperando a sua chegada com ansiedade!
