É, acho que por este ano acabou... / I think that there isn't more for this year

Pois é, no domingo sentei para ver se a minha maquininha estava disposta a trabalhar e comecei com uma oferta de óleo e limpeza para deixá-la nos trinques! Mas não adiantou! =( A bichinha tossiu, arrembentou linhas de novo, mais TACLET-TACLET e um barulhão que não consegui identificar, o que me fez parar imediatamente! Será que dá pra ver como o tecido de teste ficou meio mordido?

This Sunday I went to check if my sewing machine was in the mood to make something and I started with some oil and a cleanup to put her in her best mood! But it didn't work! =( She coffed, destroyed some thread again, a bit more of TACLET-TACLET and some loud noise that I couldn't see where it came from and it was what me stop immediatly! Are you able to see como the test fabric is marked?

Aí fui para a emergência e desembalei a máquina da mamãe, uma Singer dos anos 60! que estava comigo justamente para testar e ver se podia me ajudar. Nada, nadinha de nada! A pobre nem se mexeu! Fez aquele barulho de motor que não quer pegar, sabe? NHEM-NHEM-NHEEEEMMM! E não saiu um pontinho sequer para contar história.

Then I went for my emergency exit and open up my mother's machine, a Singer from the 60s! that was with me to test it out and see if it could be of some help. Nothing, zit, nits! That old lady didn't even buldge! She made that kind of noise like a car when the motor won't start, you know? WEN-WEN-WWEEEENNNNN! And there wasn't one single point to be shown.

Então embalei as duas e vou ver se consigo levá-las para o técnico amanhã, uma de cada vez, né, até porque a Singer pesa uma tonelada! Ou seja, nada mais de costurinhas neste final de ano porque eu gosto mesmo de costurar na máquina, na mão são sai tão bom... Aí decidi começar um cachecol para mandar para meu amigo Bruno, que se no momento está em meio a um verão de média de 20.C, vai entrar em um inverno poderoso no ano que vem! E até lá o cachecol vai estar pronto, certo? Certo?! Eu acredito! :P

So, I just put both of them away and I'll to take them to a technitian tomorrow, one at a time because the Singer weights a ton! This means no more sewing this year because I really like to machine sew, when I do it by hand it's not so good... Then I decided to start a scarf for my friend Bruno that is living through a 20.C summer right now but it's in for a heavy winter next year! And until then I'll have the scarf finished, right? Right?! I believe! :P

Para não ser um completo desperdício, embrulhei o presente de Natal da minha afilhada. Nada que fiz não, é um livro de atividades que eu achei muito interessante. Tomara que ela goste!

And for not letting the Sunday to be a complete waste, I wrapped up the Christmas gift for my god child. It's not something I made, it's an activities book that I thought was really interesting. I hope she likes it!
