A saia da minha irmã / My sister's skirt

Comecei a fazer a saia para minha irmã há pouco mais de um mês, como prova este post aqui. Finalmente terminei de costurá-la nesta Sexta-feira Santa. Ela não queria elástico na cintura, então usei um cordão do próprio tecido da saia e detalhes de pendentes nas pontas, para não correr o risco do cordão se perder na casa. Ficou na altura do joelho mas minha irmã achou um pouco curta. Mas eu também não tinha muita opção de tecido já que trouxe exatos 1 metro da Holanda e não dava para conseguir mais. Fiz com forro de tactel cinza. No geral, fiquei satisfeita com o resultado mas também me dei conta de como no finalzinho da costura eu me perco e os detalhes não ficam tão bons. Acho que preciso de mais paciência para terminar meus trabalhos e aprender a esperar para ver o resultado final se eu quiser que a qualidade da minha costura continue a melhorar.

I started my sister's skirt a little more than a month ago, as this post shows. I finally finished it this Good Friday. My sister didn't want elastic on the waist so I used a string I made from the same fabric with some pendants to avoyd the risk of the string disapear inside its case. It comes to the beginning of the knee and my sister thought it was a little short but I didn't have much space to maneuver because I brought exactly 1 meter from Holland and I couldn't get more of this fabric. I used a grey fabric as linning. In general, I'm happy with the results but I also saw how in the final stages of the sewing the details are not so good. I think I need more patience at the end of the work and I need to learn to wait for the final result to achieve a better quality in what I made.
