Fui com colegas do trabalho e outras amigas delas e experimentei um artesanato diferente, pelo menos pra mim: um clube local dedicado a cerâmica prepara várias peças para vender e os visitantes pintam as peças com uma técnica chamada raku. Depois de pintadas, as peças são cozidas e só então temos o resultado final.
I went with some work colleges and some of their friends. I tried a different kind of craft (different for me at least). A local ceramics club prepares a variety of pieces to sell and then visitors have the opportunity to paint them and see it "cooked" with a fast firing technique. The process is known as raku and you only really find out the final appearance of your piece at the end.
É surpreendente e interessante. Só tentei duas peças (me arrependi depois de não ter feito mais) mas valeu a pena. O cavalo marinho eu dei de presente, mas o potinho agora está aqui em casa. E eu adoro! :D
It's surprising and interesting. I only did two pieces ( and I regret not trying some more) but it was worth it. The sea-horse I gave as a present but the bowl is decorating my home now. And I love it! :D
